Summer time and the living is easy!

Hey everyone, its been a while since mum posted an update for me but here we go!

Like every dog, I do enjoy lying in the sunshine, swimming in the water and playing fetch and tug-o-war!  Since its my 1st summer mum has been taking a crazy amount of pictures of me.  Personally, I like posing for the camera & I hope to one day make my acting debut!

Angus - the meaning behind the name

My mum was telling me the other day why she picked my name and then I asked what my name means.  Here is what Angus means!

gus\ as a boy's name is pronounced ANG-guss. It is of Celtic origin, and the meaning of Angus is "one choice". Scottish: Anglicized form of the Gaelic name Aonghus or Aonghas. Celtic mythology: Angus Og is a god of attractive traits such as humor and wisdom.

I've got to say, she nailed this one!  Not only am I attractive, but I am funny and wise too!

Cherry eye - post surgery

Ok, here are a few pics of me rockin' my paw cone!

Thanks to the Vet tech who taught me how to walk around with the cone on my neck, I have managed to hold my head high and not walk into the walls to many times.

Since I can't walk up and down the stairs, Mum carries me! 
Its great, talk about service!

Cherry eye

I've had the unfortunate experience of having a cherry eye that has gone bad.  Well, bad as in it won't go back in and I've had to have surgery.

Its been a few days since my surgery and I will say that I am recovering at a nice pace.

26 pounds and counting!

I am officially 4 & 1/2 months old and am now weighing 26 pounds!

I have been enjoying my puppy food and am thinking my lunch should be ready soon!
I like the Go food since its full of protein and its smells delicious.  Its lip smacking good, but then again, all food to me is good!
